Yvette Teng is an international traveler, and former resident of Malaysia, Australia, and New Zealand, where she graduated with a BA from Victoria University of Wellington. She made her way to the United States in 1998 where she established a successful career in business management, quickly working her way up to become a manager of a private international trading company. Yvette's career in real estate began when she bought her first home in the Bay Area, in 2000. Since then, she has been actively involved in real estate investment and land banking in the United States. Yvette owns investment properties in the Bay Area, Arizona, Florida, Redding, Palmdale, Malaysia, Australia, and Cancun Mexico.
Yvette brings many strengths from her past experiences into her present real estate career. In her extensive travels, she learned how to be flexible, receptive, and creative. In her management career, she thrived due to her skills in organization, leadership, and efficiency. Yvette is a realtor who puts her clients at ease; not only is she personable and attentive, she is motivated and professional. Yvette is fluent in English, Mandarin, Cantonese, Hokkien, and Teow Chiu. She also earned multiple advanced designations such as Certified Residential Specialist, Graduate Realtor Institute, Qualify Service Certified in her real estate studies.
Yvette's concern for people's welfare is clear in everything she does. In addition to her work as a full time Realtor, she also volunteers her time to the Lymphoma and Leukemia Society, and runs in multiple races including 8k, half, and full marathon to help raise fund for the organization.
Professional Designations and Training
- CRS (The Certified Residential Specialist), is the highest designation awarded to sales associates in the residential sales field and recognizes their professional accomplishments in both experience and education. CRS designation is earned by less than 5% of REALTORS nationwide
- GRI (Graduate REALTOR® Institute), granted by the National Association of REALTORS® is considered the Nation's #1 real estate designation. It is recognized as the standard for real estate Professionalism, Knowledge and Experience. GRI designation is earned by less than 10% of REALTORS nationwide
- QSC (Quality Service Certified®, A designation may be the most important credential a real estate professional can hold. A Quality Service Certified® sales professional is held to a standard which requires accountability, reliability and consistency.
